Which Membership Level is appropriate

  • Free: Select this if you just want access to the free Help Resources and to post your apps to the Great Apps Registry.
  • Support: Select this if you want access to the Members-Only Message Board, advanced resource and to generally support IADN. You do not get a Developer Profile but you will be listed as a member.
  • Individual: Select this if you are the owner of a single person company and provide services using Alpha Five. You cannot use this level if you are the employee of a company with more than one member.
  • Company: Select this if you are the owner of a small consulting company and want to register one or more of your Alpha Five developers.

Qualification Required

No special qualifications are required for the Free or Support Membership Level. However, to have a Developer Profile, you must meet these minimum qualifications:

  1. More than five years providing software solutions to different clients, at least three of those years using Alpha Five as your primary solution.
  2. More than five completed software projects for previous or current clients.
  3. Currently delivering solutions using Alpha Five version 9 or 10.
  4. Must be a full time software consultant, and/or receiving at least 50% of your income as an Independent Software Developer.
  5. Must not own or work for a company with more than seven (7) employees that also provides Alpha Five solutions.
  6. Action Required: Provide two letters of recomondation by non-family Alpha Five clients.
  7. Action Required: Submit two recent A5 applications to IADN for review.
  8. Action Required: Arrange for interview by IADN Membership board.

It takes about three weeks to get approved as a Developer on IADN.

About Commissions on Projects

There is no mandatory commission paid to IADN on contracting assignments you earn using our service. However, we suggest a voluntary fee back to IADN of between 5-10%.
